CLAREX® Optical Quality Cell Cast Acrylic Precision Thin Sheet

The base substrate for almost all of the other products we offer!

CLAREX® Cell Cast Sheet combines many desirable features.

CLAREX® PRECISION THIN SHEET – (poly-methyl methacrylate) affords unsurpassed optical properties, excellent uniform thickness (from .008 inch) and surface smoothness with high transmission rates and minimum optical distortion. Several surface options are available.

See Transmission and Reflectance Charts

APPLICATIONS – LCD protective windows, camera and lens covers, sensor & light filters, architectural models, microfluidics substrate, and more.

Ultra thin sheets are available. Thicknesses as low as 0.008".

SIZE – 400mm x 550mm is standard. For clear uncoated glossy sheets 0.5mm and greater, our standard size is 500mm x 500mm. Please contact us to discuss custom sheet size options.

MACHINING / PRINTING - Available to customer specification.

COLORS – Many colors, clears and neutral grays are available. See standard colors.
Clear available 0.2mm thick and up. Colors available 0.5mm thick and up.
If we don’t already have the color you need in our portfolio, we offer color-matching service as well.

COATINGS – Scratch Resistant (Hard Coat) 6H-8H Pencil Hardness – available one side scratch-resistant and both sides scratch-resistant.
Super-hardcoat (9H) also available.
